What is a Quality Complaint?

A quality complaint is a report concerning any issue related to the identity, quality, reliability, safety or efficacy of a product.
A complaint may concern a product quality defect, such as a malfunction, missing product units or a patch that does not adhere properly.
If the report concerns an adverse drug reaction, please contact the Pharmacovigilance Department through the dedicated section of our website at: gentilipharma.com/pharmacovigilance.


How can a Quality Complaint be submitted?
A quality complaint may be submitted by either a patient or a healthcare professional.
Please note that it is very important to retain the defective sample, so that it can be provided to Istituto Gentili for the appropriate investigation.

A quality complaint can be submitted by sending an email to Quality.global@istitutogentili.com, providing the following information:

  • Complainant (private individual/pharmacy)
  • First name and surname
  • Email address and Telephone number
  • Availability to be contacted (yes/no)
  • Product name, Strength, Batch number
  • Description of the defect
  • Photographs, if available
