Istituto Gentili expands its Pain Therapy portfolio

Gentili Pharma has announced a new licensing partnership with Galen Limited, that will see Galen’s subsidiary, POA Pharma Scandinavia AB, assume exclusive distribution responsibilities across Denmark, Finland and Norway.

The agreement strengthens Gentili Pharma’s long‑term strategy in Northern Europe, expanding its presence in the Nordic region and reinforcing its commitment to improving access to essential therapies. The partnership covers a medication used in paediatric care, and POA Pharma’s established regional infrastructure will support a smooth transition, ensuring continuity for healthcare providers and maintaining stability within existing supply chains.

We are delighted to partner with Gentili as part of our ongoing investment in the Nordic region. Their commitment to high quality, patient‑focused solutions mirrors our own values, and we look forward to combining our collective strengths to deliver meaningful impact across the Nordic markets,” said Johnny McGaughey, Head of Business Development at Galen.

This partnership marks a significant step forward in our commitment to delivering high‑quality therapeutic solutions to patients and healthcare professionals. By partnering with Galen, we are strengthening our presence in the Nordic region, ensuring continuity of access and supporting increasingly effective and appropriate management of paediatric patients. We are proud to collaborate with a trusted international partner to enhance quality of care and improve patients' outcomes,” said Alessandro Del Bono, CEO of Istituto Gentili.
